OUR MISSION
The ARIZONA PROSTATE CANCER COALITION is an inclusive statewide organization promoting awareness, education, early detection, effective treatment, and support for prostate cancer patients, their families and caregivers.
OUR STORY
The Arizona Prostate Cancer Coalition (AZPCC) was founded in 2019 by Otto Sankey, Ph. D., who was diagnosed with Stage IV prostate cancer in 2013. As a physicist, Dr. Sankey approached his diagnosis with scientific rigor, actively participating in clinical trials. Until his passing in March 2020, he remained a steadfast leader in education and advocacy, leaving a lasting legacy of empowerment, awareness, and hope within the prostate cancer community.
The AZPCC’s goals are to unify education, awareness, and outreach efforts across Arizona, provide resources for individuals diagnosed with prostate cancer at all stages, collaborate with local and national organizations, and share timely information on emerging therapies and advancements in prostate cancer treatment.
