Arizona has many prostate cancer support groups that you may attend. There you will meet others with conditions similar to yours, and you likely will find someone who has “been there, done that.” It is an invaluable experience where you can listen to others, ask questions, and if you choose, tell your story and seek advice. Many support groups host medical professional speakers.
They are free and require no RSVP. Just show up. Caregivers/spouses/significant others are also invited to attend as they are also on this journey with you and have their own challenges, concerns and questions.

You may wish to email or call the group leader to make sure they are not taking the summer off or not meeting that month due to a holiday or other reason. You are not bothering them. They are prostate cancer warriors themselves and desire to help.
